Atomic absorption spectroscopy is a well-established quantitative technique for heavy metal testing in environmental, food and agricultural laboratories. Water, food digestates and soil extracts differ greatly in matrix complexity. Clean water samples are easy to measure, while food and soil samples contain large amounts of organic residues, salts and interfering co-existing elements, which may cause baseline drift and false positive results. Multiple dedicated instruments are not always required. The AA320N double beam atomic absorption spectrophotometer provides a modular solution for multi-scenario heavy metal detection.

Double-beam optical design automatically compensates light-source drift, temperature-caused wavelength drift and circuit drift to achieve excellent baseline stability. Hollow-cathode lamps do not require lengthy warm-up time; samples can be measured rapidly right after instrument startup, suitable for multi-element and fast batch sample analysis. Adopted total-reflection optical system eliminates chromatic aberration across full wavelength range and improves light flux. Precision pressure-stabilized and current-stabilized gas circuit delivers steady, low-noise flame.
